The bar’s interior is as to be expected from a venue of Bucanero’s nature; slightly ‘old school’ in character, with wooden tables that are often turned into an additional dance floor! This unpretentious approach has been one of the key factors behind the continued success it has experienced over the past 25 years. It is only when the music gets turned up and the sun is firmly put to bed that this bar truly comes into its own. The atmosphere is one of widespread entertainment; the jagerbombs are flowing with monotonous regularity; it is no wonder why this particular venue is the start and end of many a person’s night – why feel the need to head off to one of the island’s self acclaimed ‘super clubs’ every night of the week?
Blessed with a big (and slightly more chilled out!) terrace, Bucanero’s has everything that you could ever ask for on a night out; a separate cocktail bar, pool tables, a BBQ area that churns out burgers at an astonishing rate of knots to the ever increasing flock of gannets…the list goes on. With doors opening at 20:00, Bucanero’s is a must for any individual, stag or hen do or just a group of friends who are after an entertaining night. Certainly did the job for us! A word of warning – if you have plans for the following day; approach with extreme caution!
