DescriptionEarn the diving industry's most recognized certification on this 3-day course in Ibiza. You’ll learn diving theory and have plenty of pool training sessions. Once you have a decent foundation, you'll head out to sea for some open-water training dives. By the third day, you'll have plenty of practical experience and will have earned a PADI Open Water Diver Certificate. During the entire course you'll be supervised by a PADI professional instructor and will be diving in the crystal clear waters off Ibiza. Detailed Itinerary Day 1: Theory Presentations and Pool Training The first morning begins with 3 theory presentations that last a total of 2 hours. Watch PADI Open Water Diver videos to gain a basic understanding of the training required for certification. In the afternoon, you’ll head to the pool for a 2-hour training session in which you’ll learn the basic skills required for diving. Day 2: Open Water Diving and Theory Presentations On the second day, you’ll go diving in the sea and complete 2 open water training dives. Either directly after diving or in the evening, you’ll attend 2 more theory presentations featuring additional PADI Open Water Diver videos. Day 3: Open Water Diving and Certification By the third day you’ll have finished the theory section of the PADI Open Water Diver course. At this time, you’ll go diving again to complete the final 2 PADI Open Water Course dives. All dives are conducted at regular dive sites. You’ll marvel at the underwater life to be found here, including sea fans, shells, and all kinds of fish. At the end of the 3 days, you’ll have learned everything you need to know for recreational diving. The PADI Open Water Diver certificate allows you to go diving with anyone who also holds a diving certificate, but gaining enough experience beforehand is highly recommended.
