Description
This volcanic natural pool is located on Ibiza’s rugged Mediterranean coastline, where waves meet steep volcanic cliffs. The pool is nestled within basalt rock walls, creating a natural amphitheater shaped by volcanic forces and erosion.
Its irregular shape extends into the hollow rock formations and is filled directly by seawater, which enters with the waves, especially when the sea is rough. The water gently warms under the sun, providing a unique swimming experience framed by deep black lava rock streaked with veins.
Adjacent to the pool, a volcanic rock corridor winds silently through hills and cliffs. This passage features intense black basalt walls marked by ancient eruption striations, contrasting sharply with the blue sky. Distinct rock formations rise like frozen magma sculptures, imparting a timeless, natural atmosphere.
