You'll discover why it is one of the 15 Spanish cities declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the 1585’ Portal de ses Taules, between the bastions of Sant Joan and Santa Llúcia. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The headless Roman statues are evidence of the Roman occupation.

Have a look at the church of the Convent of San Vicente y San Jaime, first built in the 16th century as a convent church, and was only open to the general public in 1929. The several chapels inside show a glimpse of how life was in old Ibiza. The façade is a great example of the mixture of Moorish and Christian architectures that influenced the entire island.
