Weather Overview

Ibiza is fortunate enough to be located at the heart of the Mediterranean and enjoys a climate that is typical of this region. Blessed with 300 days of sunshine a year, summers are hot and dry with temperatures becoming very warm from June to late September; peaking to around 35°C in July and August. Although the heat is at times intense throughout this period, a refreshing sea breeze makes the midday sun a little more tolerable.

Sea temperatures are comfortable from June onwards, gradually increasing from 21°C at the start of the summer to 26°C in late September. Visit any of the beautiful, sandy beaches or rent a funky car and discover some of the many hidden coves. Sunsets are stunning on this magical island so grab yourselves a picnic, choose a spot & relax!

Winters are slightly cooler than on the other Balearic Islands, however even during December and January it can be pleasant to sit outside when the sun is out. Once night falls, it can become quite cold and it is advisable to pack a jumper and a light raincoat if visiting in this period. The cooler months do experience more rainfall, with April and October usually proving to be the wettest.
