Ibiza Airport Information

Ibiza airport is located 7.5km to the south of the island’s capital town, Ibiza. A well structured road network is in place connecting the airport with the rest of the island, making transfers to and from resorts relatively quick and straightforward!

In 2008, some 4.6 million passengers passed through the airport’s terminal, with the summer months (May to October) being accountable for 85% of this total. Subsequently, general improvements to the airport’s facilities are made during the quieter periods, forcing parts of the airport to be closed throughout the winter.

Departing from Ibiza Airport
Ibiza airport provides a good variety of facilities that are available to both the flying and non-flying passengers. A chemist, newsagents, music store and souvenir shop are located before security and are accessible to the general public. Financial facilities include a bureau de change, a 24 hour cash machine and banking services.

Upon clearing security, there is a well stocked duty free shop as well as several bars and cafes. Internet access is also available within the terminal building.

Car Parking
Car parking at the airport is relatively inexpensive however with only 496 parking spaces; the car park does become crowded throughout the summer. Both the pick-up area and long stay car parks are within close proximity to the terminal building. There is a maximum stay of 15 minutes in the pick-up and drop-off areas (Zona Azul) where as longer periods of parking can be found at Parking P1; charged by the hour or by the day.
