Fiestas de Santa Gertrudis

Día de Santa Gertrudis - November 16th.

Santa Gertrudis is part of the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Rio but hosts it´s own town festivities with exciting events like the Pork Festival, a show of all the different ways the meat from a pig can be used after a matanza and eaten! All kinds of typical Spanish sausages like sobrasada and butifarra are available with delicious bread and of course vi pages to wash it all down with. There is always Ball Pages, the traditional folk dancing and Church services. A huge marquee is set up to avoid disappointment if it rains and local bands play live music all night long. Expect anything from Spanish music to covers of 70´s and 80´s songs and tributes to Queen or even Bryan Adams! Acrobatic performances, Bumper Cars, Merry-Go-Rounds, waffle stands & air rifle games are among other fun things to do. So keep an eye on our events page and if you are visiting Ibiza during the month of November, be sure to pass through and enjoy the Fiestas de Santa Gertrudis.
