Cala Llonga

Cala Llonga is a small town hidden away between Santa Eulalia and Ibiza, right on the coast. It has been a favourite among the English and the Dutch for many years now and although it is almost a ghost town during the winter months, it is very lively in the summer. There is one main entrance which runs straight through the town and down to the beach. Dotted along this main road are many bars & restaurants, most are only seasonal but some do stay open all winter long so be sure to visit.

The outstanding feature of this town is the beautiful beach and the sheltered bay. 200m long by 100m wide, it has lovely white sand and faces East. The gentle slope into the sea and the sandy shore make it the perfect place for children to spend the day. There is a fantastic playground towards the back of the beach and a lovely picnic area with large wooden tables, open to the public.
There are a large amount of bars and restaurants here and there are even Bumper-Cars and other activities for the kids to enjoy, right at the centre of the town.
Cala Llonga has many hotels, holiday apartments, private villas and of course the lovely little village on the hill, known as the Pueblo Esparragos and loved by hundreds. The Pueblo is the perfect solution to your all-in-one holiday in Ibiza and is an urbanisation overlooking the town. It has many different self contained apartments, two swimming pools, a shop, a laundry service, quite a few bars/ restaurants and plenty of parking.
To the right of the beach, there is a small mountain and the path up to the top is a lovely little walk. If you´re feeling adventurous, hike up to the very top where you will see the Phoenecian ruins, with a spectacular view of the neighbouring bay of Sol Den Serra.
